About the game
Aethernaut opens with the player waking up with no memory of their identity, only to be told by a mysterious voice that they are called 'the Aethernaut' — someone able to move through a hazardous zone called the Construct, where the aether itself proves lethal. From there, the game has you work through a sequence of rooms, solving experiments while piecing together your own backstory. The central question is whether you can get out of the Construct in time. Dragon Slumber developed the game, Iceberg Interactive published it, and it launched in 2022.
