About the game
Wretch: Divine Ascent pits two players against each other in a tactical auto-battle format that blends roguelike elements with backpack-based inventory management, presented in a somber, medieval-inspired visual style. Backpack Battles served as inspiration, and Unreal Engine powers the game. Players arrange items within their backpack to link moves together and build unique attack combinations. Ogopogo developed the game, with SapStaR Games publishing it in 2025.
