About the game
The Consuming Shadow is a horror-inflected adventure built around procedural generation, sending players to scout the land and battle through a series of procedurally shuffled dungeons. Staying sane is the real challenge as players race to stop an ancient evil from overrunning the world. Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw solo-developed and published the game in 2015.
