About the game
GUNHEAD is a fast-paced, strategic roguelike FPS that puts players in control of a pirate-themed mech whose head is literally a firearm, sent to raid abandoned spacecraft crawling with monstrous drones built from steel and bone. It serves as the sequel to Cryptark, the studio's earlier 2D roguelite title. Alientrap developed and published the game in 2023.
Did you know?
While its predecessor Cryptark was a 2D roguelite, GUNHEAD shifts the action into a full first-person shooter format — an unusual case of a sequel changing the core genre of the original.
