About the game
Gothic 1 Remake is a faithful rebuild of the cult German RPG from 2001, set in a penal colony sealed under a magical barrier. You explore the hand-crafted Valley of the Mines, choose which camp to side with and live with the consequences in a world that reacts dynamically to your actions.
Did you know?
In 2019 THQ Nordic released a free playable teaser and let players vote on whether the remake should be made at all — the response was strong enough to found Alkimia Interactive in Barcelona for the job.
