About the game
An arcade shooter in which, as an Earth Defense Force soldier, you defend humanity from an invasion of giant aliens, massive insects, and robots. Endless hordes, a campy B-movie tone, and a huge arsenal of weapons form the core of the fun. Chaotic, deliberately over-the-top action best enjoyed in co-op with friends.

The Earth Defense Force series is developed by Japanese studio Sandlot, known for its intentionally cheap B-movie style and thousands of distinct weapons.
