About the game
Droid Assault is a fast-paced retro arcade shooter by Puppygames, released in 2013. Inspired by 8-bit classics, it pits players against waves of rampaging killer robots. A key tactical element is acquiring a squad of droids to fight alongside you, adding a layer of strategy to the otherwise frantic action.
Did you know?
Droid Assault is independently developed and published by Puppygames, and its droid squad-acquisition mechanic adds a tactical layer to what would otherwise be a straightforward retro arcade shooter.
