About the game
Defective Detectives leans into film-noir tropes with a heavy dose of self-aware parody, mixing action, adventure, and RPG elements. Its tone is deliberately exaggerated and comedic, poking fun at moody detective-movie conventions like rain that falls indoors and heroes too busy posing to react to explosions. Reanim Games developed the game, with STuNT publishing it in 2026.
