About the game
Dead Format is a survival horror game set within 1990s Scotland, evoking the film eras it draws from. The player searches for a missing brother who became fixated on a mysterious new VHS format, tracing his path through the tapes to learn why the government wants "Video Ghastlies" banned. Katanalevy developed the game, and Oro Interactive published it in 2025.
