About the game
Checkmate Showdown merges chess with fighting-game combat, having players face off both in an arena and across a chessboard. It's an online multiplayer title that pairs the tactical depth of chess with the speed typical of classic fighting titles. BadRez Games developed it, ManaVoid Entertainment and Indie Asylum published it, and it released in 2023.
