About the game
BACKFIRE puts players inside a haunted 1980s arcade cabinet turned horror shooter, where the central twist has every shot travel in reverse instead of forward. Combat gets frantic as players face off against warped bosses, manipulating time to gain the upper hand, and grow stronger after each failed run until they're finally able to win. The game was developed and published by SQYD.studio in 2025.
