Mafia is a series of action-adventure games set in fictional American cities inspired by the Prohibition era and the post-World War II period. The games follow ordinary men drawn into the world of organized crime, with a strong emphasis on narrative storytelling and cinematic atmosphere. The series was developed by Czech studio 2K Czech (originally Illusion Softworks) and published by 2K Games.
